Description

We'll meet in the morning at the square of Pontevedra to head towards the walled city of Lugo, an hour's drive from La Coruña.

First, we'll take a guided tour of the historic centre of Lugo for one hour, discovering its famous city walls and the cathedral of Santa Maria, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with various architectural styles.

After exploring Lugo’s streets and history, we'll proceed to Ribadeo. There, we'll walk through its streets and learn about the Galician migration to Latin America, admiring the Indian houses that reflect this population movement.

Next, we'll head to the beach of Las Catedrales, known for its stunning rock formations resembling Gothic cathedral buttresses. Enjoy a stroll along the fine white sand.

Finally, we'll return to the bus for the journey back to La Coruña, completing the excursion after 9.5 hours.
