Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Robert the Bruce Statue in Aberdeen to begin our guided tour of this city that evolved from a small fishing village to become the oil capital of Europe.
During the guided tour, we'll visit some of the city's oldest streets and iconic buildings, including Marischal College and the Kirk of St. Nicholas. A stop at the historic Netherkirkgate will also be included.
The tour progresses through mysterious tunnels beneath the city, highlighting its dark history and their relation to the witch trials that occurred in Aberdeen.
We will also traverse the well-known Union Street, recognized for its shopping and lively atmosphere. Along this route, street art, a vital part of the city's culture, will be showcased, featuring both grand murals and smaller pieces on various corners.
After 1 hour and 30 minutes, we'll return to the starting point to conclude the tour.
