Loch Ness, Cawdor Castle, Inverness and much more: discover beautiful natural landscapes and fascinating history on this tour of the Scottish Highlands from Aberdeen.

Scottish Highlands Tour: Loch Ness & Inverness

After meeting at 8 am next to the William Wallace Statue, we'll leave Aberdeen and begin our tour of the Scottish Highlands.

Our first stop will be at Cawdor Castle, located between Inverness and Nairn, with a history dating back to the 15th century. You will have free time to explore inside the castle.

Next, we will visit Culloden, the site of the final battle in the 1745 Jacobite uprising.

After learning about the Battle of Culloden, we will proceed to Loch Ness. Here, you will have free time for lunch at a local restaurant or to stroll around the lake, enjoying the scenery and the possibility of spotting the Loch Ness monster.

We will then head to Inverness, known as the cultural capital of Scotland. You will have time to explore its streets and significant sites, including the mouth of the River Ness, Moray Firth, Inverness Castle, and the Cathedral of St Andrew.

Our final stop will be in the small town of Tomintoul, where we will enjoy panoramic views of the Scottish Highlands, perfect for photos.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back off in Aberdeen around 7 pm.
