Abisko National Park Hiking Tour

This hiking tour of Abisko National Park will introduce you to the landscapes of Norrbotten Province in northern Sweden, near the Norwegian border. The hike will cover 4 to 5 kilometers (2 to 3 miles) along the trail of the Abisko river canyon, providing views of a birch forest and the breathtaking Abisko river delta.

We will continue our hike amidst the high mountain peaks until we reach Torneträsk Lake, one of the largest lakes in Sweden. Here, insights will be shared about the indigenous peoples of the region and their Arctic lifestyle.

Wildlife sightings are possible, including reindeer, mountain hares, foxes, a variety of birds, and the Scandinavian moose. Prepare your cameras for potential wildlife encounters.

After two hours of hiking, we will conclude the tour and return to the starting point.
