On this hiking tour of Abisko National Park, you'll explore the stunning landscapes of Norrbotten Province in northern Sweden, near the Norwegian border.

Abisko National Park Hiking Tour

The tour begins with a hotel pick-up at the scheduled time to start the hiking experience in the arctic nature of Abisko National Park.

The hike covers 4 to 5 kilometers (2 to 3 miles), following the trail along the Abisko river canyon and offering views of a birch forest and the scenic Abisko river delta.

Continuing our trek, we'll be surrounded by high mountain peaks until we arrive at Torneträsk Lake, one of the largest lakes in Sweden. At the lake's shores, we'll discuss the indigenous peoples of the area and their way of life in the Arctic.

Weather permitting, there may be opportunities to observe local wildlife, including reindeer, mountain hares, foxes, various birds, and the impressive Scandinavian moose. Be prepared with your cameras!

After approximately two hours of hiking, we'll conclude the tour and return to the starting point.
