Ice Climbing in Abisko

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point and make our way to the base. Ice climbing is a very popular activity in Abisko, known as one of Sweden's premier locations for this sport. The area features a wide range of icefalls suitable for both novices and experienced climbers, surrounded by the scenic backdrop of the Abisko Mountains and Lake Torneträsk.

Upon arrival, we will fit you with ice climbing equipment, including alpine boots, crampons, a harness, and a helmet. After gearing up, we will proceed to the icefall, where our guide will teach you the basic steps of climbing vertical ice, including the use of ice climbing crampons and ice axes.

As we begin climbing, our guide will assist and encourage you throughout the experience. Participants will have the opportunity to practice and enhance their skills on various sections of the icefall while enjoying the beautiful landscape. This adventure will conclude after a total of 3 hours back at the starting point.
