Coyuca Lagoon Sea Turtle Release

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Acapulco and take you to the Coyuca Lagoon. After 1 hour, we will reach our destination, where we will admire the environment and participate in a sea turtle release.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a boat trip to explore a part of this 10.5 mile (17 kilometre) lake. During the ride, we will see the dense vegetation and views of the Sierra Madre. We may spot pelicans, avocets, and herons in the mangroves.

Next, we will visit the sea turtle protection centre to learn about the challenges faced by baby turtles. You will have the opportunity to release baby Olive Ridley sea turtles into the sea.

Finally, we will enjoy a delicious lunch with options of fish, chicken Milanese, or shrimps, served with soup, whiting, salad, and a drink.

After lunch, we will return you to your hotel in Acapulco, completing the experience after a total of 6.5 hours.

This activity only includes pickup from hotels in the Zona Dorada. If you're staying in other areas, you must make your own way to the meeting point located on Avenida Costera Miguel Alemán.
