Best of Ghana: 12-Day Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Accra

On arrival at Accra airport, we'll take you to the hotel in the Ghanaian capital. You will have free time to settle in and rest.

Day 2: Accra

After breakfast, we will begin a guided tour of Accra's symbolic locations, including Independence Square and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. We'll visit the largest artisan market and James Town neighborhood, returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Accra - Shai Hills - Aburi - Accra

We will visit Teshie Nungua to see 'fantasy coffins.' Then we will explore Shai Hills Reserve, followed by the Aburi Botanical Garden and Tetteh Quarshie Farm. We’ll return to Accra for dinner.

Day 4: Accra - Akosombo - Ho

After leaving Accra, we'll visit Akosombo Dam and Volta Lake, then Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary, before heading to our hotel in Ho for dinner.

Day 5: Ho - Wli - Tamale

We will travel to Tamale, stopping at Agumatsa Forest Reserve and Wli Waterfalls, before reaching the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 6: Tamale - Tongo - Paga - Mole

The day begins with a visit to Tongo and then Paga, known for sacred crocodiles. We’ll return to Tamale to visit its market and head to Mole National Park for a night safari. The day ends at the hotel in Mole for dinner.

Day 7: Mole

After breakfast, we’ll explore Mole National Park, followed by free time to relax at the hotel. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Morgounori village for a canoe ride before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 8: Mole - Kumasi

We will travel to Kumasi, stopping at Kintampo Waterfalls. In Kumasi, we’ll visit the central market and Okomfo Anokye Sword. Dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 9: Kumasi

After breakfast, we will tour Manhyia Palace and Kumasi's historic center before visiting the National Cultural Centre and artisan villages. We return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 10: Kumasi - Busua

We will leave Kumasi for Busua, stopping in Obuasi to see the gold mine. You’ll have afternoon free time at the hotel on the beach, ending the day with dinner.

Day 11: Busua - Cape Coast

The day begins with a visit to Elmina Castle, followed by Kakum National Park. We return to the hotel in Elmina for dinner.

Day 12: Cape Coast - Accra

In the morning, we will visit Cape Coast Castle and the West African History Museum. We will then return to Accra for your transfer to the airport, concluding the tour.
