Best of Ghana: 12-Day Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Accra

Upon arrival at Accra airport, you will be transferred to the hotel in the capital. You'll have free time to settle in and relax.

Day 2: Accra

After breakfast, we'll commence a guided tour of Accra, starting at Independence Square, followed by the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. We'll visit the largest artisan market and the James Town neighborhood before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Accra - Shai Hills - Aburi - Accra

We will visit Teshie Nungua, known for its fantasy coffins, and Shai Hills Reserve to spot local wildlife. In the afternoon, we will explore Aburi Botanical Garden and Tetteh Quarshie Farm before dinner back at the hotel.

Day 4: Accra - Akosombo - Ho

We will visit Akosombo Dam and Volta Lake, then proceed to Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary. In the evening, we will check into our hotel in Ho for dinner.

Day 5: Ho - Wli - Tamale

Traveling to Tamale, we will stop at Agumatsa Forest Reserve and the Wli Waterfalls. Upon arrival in Tamale, we will have dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Tamale - Tongo - Paga - Mole

We will greet the day in Tongo, visit sacred crocodiles in Paga, return to Tamale for its market, then experience a night safari in Mole National Park. Dinner and rest will follow at the hotel in Mole.

Day 7: Mole

After an early breakfast, we'll explore Mole National Park and have free time to relax by the hotel pool. In the afternoon, we will visit Morgounori village for traditional lifestyle insights and a canoe ride. Dinner will follow at the hotel.

Day 8: Mole - Kumasi

We will make our way to Kumasi, stopping at Kintampo waterfalls. In Kumasi, we will visit the central market and the Okomfo Anokye Sword. Dinner will be at the hotel in Kumasi.

Day 9: Kumasi

Following breakfast, we will tour Manhyia Palace and Kumasi's historic center, visiting the National Cultural Centre and artisan villages of Ahwiaa and Bonwire before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 10: Kumasi - Busua

We will leave Kumasi for Busua, stopping at Obuasi gold mine. After settling into the hotel in Busua, you'll have time to relax at the beach. Dinner will be provided.

Day 11: Busua - Cape Coast

We will begin with a visit to Elmina Castle and then explore Kakum National Park, ending the day at the hotel in Elmina for dinner.

Day 12: Cape Coast - Accra

In the morning, we'll visit Cape Coast Castle and the West African History Museum. Afterwards, we will return to Accra and transfer you to the airport, concluding the tour.
