Best of Ghana: 12-Day Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Accra

Upon arrival at Accra airport, you will be taken to the hotel in Accra, where you can settle in and rest.

Day 2: Accra

After breakfast, start a guided tour of Accra, visiting Independence Square, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, the largest artisan market, and James Town. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Accra - Shai Hills - Aburi - Accra

In the morning, visit Teshie Nungua for its fantasy coffins, then Shai Hills Reserve to see local wildlife. In the afternoon, visit Aburi botanical garden, Akuapim hills, Tetteh Quarshie Farm, and then return to Accra for dinner.

Day 4: Accra - Akosombo - Ho

Travel to Akosombo Dam for views of Volta Lake. Visit Tafi Atome monkey sanctuary before heading to Ho for dinner.

Day 5: Ho - Wli - Tamale

Proceed to Tamale, stopping at Agumatsa Forest Reserve and Wli waterfalls (24 meters tall). Arrive in Tamale for dinner and rest.

Day 6: Tamale - Tongo - Paga - Mole

Day 7: Mole

Day 8: Mole - Kumasi

Day 10: Kumasi - Busua

Day 11: Busua - Cape Coast

Visit Elmina Castle and Kakum National Park's wooden walkway. Return to Elmina hotel for dinner.

Day 12: Cape Coast - Accra
