Enjoy a day trip to the Boti Waterfall and Aburi Botanical Garden from Accra, two essential sites in Ghana.
Description
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Accra and begin our trip to the Northern interior of Ghana.
Our first stop is the Boti Waterfalls, known locally as the male and female waterfalls. During the rainy season, the falls converge in a phenomenon called the "mating ceremony," creating a rainbow over the falls.
Next, we'll pause at Umbrella Rock to view its unique rock formation resembling an umbrella and enjoy panoramic views of the landscape.
From there, we'll visit the Aburi Botanical Gardens, which spans 65 hectares (160 acres). We will walk through the grounds, highlighting various plants and trees native to Africa, some over 100 years old.
After touring the botanical gardens, you'll have time for lunch at local restaurants before we begin our return to Accra, dropping you off at your hotel approximately 10 hours later.
