Cape Coast Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Accra and embark on a tour of Cape Coast. Our first stop will be at Kakum National Park, known for its 40-meter suspended bridge offering views of the forest and wildlife.

Next, we'll visit Hans Cottage Botel for a break. This lodge is situated on a pond and features a swimming pool. Here, you can see crocodiles, turtles, and various birds. A lunch break is included, allowing you to dine at your discretion.

Then, we'll proceed to Elmina Castle, originally named Castelo de São Jorge da Mina, built in 1482 by the Portuguese. This castle is recognized as the oldest below the Sahara, initially serving as a trading colony and later significant for the Atlantic slave market.

Finally, our tour will take us to Cape Coast Castle, one of Ghana's largest fortresses and now a museum. We will share insights about its historical connection with the gold and timber trade.

After a 12-14 hour tour, we'll return you to your accommodation in Accra.
