Day 1: Accra - Cape Coast - Elmina

Your journey begins at 8 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Accra, where a guided tour of the city unfolds. The first point of interest will be Independence Square, featuring a striking arch that honors Ghana's declaration of independence in 1957.

The exploration of Accra continues at Kwame Nkrumah Park, home to a prominent mausoleum erected for Ghana's inaugural president. This site also houses a museum showcasing artifacts and photographs related to his life and legacy.

Afterward, we will travel to the coastal city of Cape Coast. Here, you will have an hour to savor local cuisine, renowned especially for its delicious seafood. Following lunch, we will visit Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can reflect on its poignant history at the infamous "door of no return".

The day concludes with a drive to a hotel situated in the charming town of Elmina, allowing you some leisure time to relax on the beautiful beaches.

Day 2: Elmina - Kakum National Park - Accra

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Elmina, we will set off towards Kakum National Park. This remarkable area is noted for its stunning forests and biological diversity.

Experience a brief hike in the park to traverse the Kakum suspension bridge, Africa's sole canopy walkway. From this vantage point, you might catch sight of playful monkeys and even elephants that roam this enchanting part of the continent.

Your adventure will conclude with our return to Accra.
