Tour of Accra

Between 5 and 6 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Accra to start a tour of the main points of interest in the capital of Ghana. The tour will be conducted both by foot and by minibus.

The first stop will be at the National Museum of Ghana, where you can explore the culture, history, and heritage of the country. Next, we will visit Independence Square, which features many monuments that commemorate Ghana's independence struggle.

Afterwards, we will head to Jamestown, one of Accra's oldest districts, to see its 1871 British lighthouse and pre-colonial houses, while learning about the slave trade era.

We will then visit the Makola market to enjoy an authentic Accra experience, providing the opportunity to purchase a typical Ghanaian handicraft.

Next, we will see the W. E. B. Du Bois memorial, the resting place of this notable pan-Africanist, and the Center for National Culture.

The tour will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel between 11 am and 12 pm.
