Tour of Accra
Between 5 and 6 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Accra to start a tour of the main points of interest in the capital of Ghana. We'll tour both by foot and by minibus to explore the whole city.
The first stop will be at the National Museum of Ghana, where you will connect with the culture, history, and heritage of the country. We will then visit Independence Square to observe monuments that commemorate Ghana's independence struggle.
Next, we will head to Jamestown, one of the oldest districts, to see the 1871 British lighthouse and pre-colonial houses, while learning about the area's history during the slave trade.
We'll then experience authentic Accra by visiting the Makola market, where you can browse various stalls and purchase a typical Ghanaian handicraft.
Our tour will continue at the W. E. B. Du Bois memorial, the resting place of the notable pan-Africanist, and the Center for National Culture.
We will conclude the tour and drop you back off at your hotel between 11 am and 12 pm.
