On this sunset boat tour of Aci Trezza, we'll admire the Sicilian coast at sunset and enjoy a typical dinner.

Tour Description

At the indicated time, we will meet at via Ricca and, after a brief introduction, we will set sail on a boat to admire the coast of Aci Trezza.

We will pass by the island of Lachea, part of a protected volcanic area known as the Cyclops Archipelago, and see the iconic Faraglioni rock formations, which are linked to the myth of Polyphemus.

Next, we will sail past Aci Castello, a Norman castle on a basaltic promontory, and proceed towards Ognina, one of the oldest coastal villages of Catania, where the Caves of Ulysses are located, visible only from the sea.

Before dinner, we will take a break for a swim, stopping near Lachea Island or the Faraglioni based on preferences and sea conditions.

After around one hour of sailing, we will disembark in Aci Trezza and go to a Sicilian family house for a typical dinner, featuring mussels au gratin, pasta with anchovies and cherry tomatoes, octopus, caponata, Sicilian cannoli, and local wine.

Finally, we will return to the initial meeting point, concluding this sunset boat trip after 5 hours.
