Ever visited the sea and a mountain on the same day? On this tour from Catania, you'll explore the Etna Nature Preserve on a jeep and go snorkeling on the Cyclops Islands.

Etna Jeep Tour & Snorkeling

At 8:30 am, we'll meet on Via Provinciale in Catania, where we'll hop on an all-terrain vehicle to head for the Etna Natural Park. During this tour, we'll alternate between sitting on the jeep and going for short hikes to explore the volcanic terrain in Mount Etna and admire the views from its viewpoints. We'll traverse wooded areas, see inactive craters, and observe the local fauna, including foxes, hedgehogs, weasels, porcupines, and shrews.

Next, we'll drive to Lido Aquarius in Aci Castello. We'll put on the snorkel equipment to dive into the Ionian Sea waters and swim to the marine reserve on Cyclops Islands to admire the volcanic landscapes underwater and discover its diverse wildlife.

Finally, we'll return to the mainland, ending the tour at the starting point at 4:30 pm.
