The new Ansenuza National Park is a key wetland in the Argentinean province of Cordoba. On this day trip, participants will explore its history and scenery, particularly the flamingoes in the Mar Chiquita Lagoon's ecosystem.

Pickup from your hotel in Córdoba is at 7:30 am, followed by travel eastbound on Ruta 19 through the Argentinean Pampas.

After a brief stop, the tour will continue to Miramar, a significant town in the Ansenuza National Park, established in August 2021. The 3-hour tour will commence with a visit to the Aníbal Montes Museum, focusing on the area's fauna and flora. Participants will then visit the Costanera promenade and learn about the history of the old coypu hatchery, which was important in the 1970s fur industry.

The tour includes traveling along the Mar Chiquita Lagoon to observe flamingos, Neotropic cormorants, and other native birds. The next stop will be the museum of the old Gran Hotel Viena, highlighting its history linked to Central European immigrants. Afterward, participants will have time for lunch in central Miramar.

Post-lunch, a boat ride on the Mar Chiquita Lagoon is available. This 1-hour boat trip on a pirate ship allows exploration of Miramar and its waterfront.

After the boat trip, the group will return to Córdoba, with drop-off around 8 pm.
