Carmona Church & Alcazar Tour
We'll meet at 11 am in the Plaza Blas Infante square, next to the Puerta de Sevilla. The tour begins with an exploration of the defensive complex dating back to the Carthaginian period.
We will enter the Alcazar of the Puerta de Sevilla, a Moorish fortress. From the Tower of Gold, enjoy views of the city. A stop at the Patio de los Aljibes will allow us to see a medieval cistern carved from rock, used for water supply to the Alcazar residents.
Next, we will visit the Iglesia de Santa María church, a gothic-renaissance structure built over the old Great Mosque.
The tour concludes after two hours of exploring Carmona's cultural heritage.
