Located just outside Chiang Mai are the Buddhist temples of Wat U-Mong and Doi Suthep.

Evening Tour of Chiang Mai's Temples

This half-day sunset tour includes hotel pickup in Chang Mai. After a brief drive, we will visit Wat U-Mong, a 700-year-old temple constructed in 1297, known for its underground tunnels and scenic forest environment. Fewer crowds in the afternoon enhance the experience with stunning views.

During the visit to Wat U-Mong, participants will explore the underground tunnels and the temple grounds while enjoying the surrounding forest. The area is noted for its trees, which are said to offer wisdom to passersby.

Next, we travel to Doi Suthep Temple and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, where attendees can appreciate a stunning sunset illuminating the temple’s architecture. Access to this temple requires climbing a 309-step staircase, leading to exceptional nighttime views of Chiang Mai.

At dusk, a traditional monk ceremony at the Golden Pagoda will be held, offering insight into Thai culture. The total duration of the tour is 4.5 hours.
