Free Tour of Dubrovnik
We'll gather at the designated time and proceed into the historic heart of Dubrovnik, entering through the famous Pile Gate, one of the principal passageways through the medieval walls.
As part of our free tour, we will visit significant cultural landmarks in Old Town, a gem situated on the notable Dalmatian Coast and recognized as one of Croatia’s most breathtaking destinations. You’ll delve into the rich past of the ancient Republic of Ragusa while enjoying a leisurely stroll through the cobblestone streets, discovering spots that transport you back in time.
Our journey will include a stop at the Onofrio fountain, a remarkable 16-sided polygonal structure that continues to provide drinking water to this day. Following this, we will pass by the churches of St. Roko and St. Blaise, along with the Franciscan monastery, home to a magnificent Gothic-style cloister.
You will also witness the statue of Orlando and the Rector's Palace, in addition to admiring the graceful facade of the Cathedral of the Assumption. Many of these locations inspired the creators of a widely popular television series. Can you figure out which one it is?
Concluding our tour, we will visit the old port of Ragusa after approximately 1-1.5 hours of exploration.
