Day Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Rua da Esperança, 14A, to begin our complete tour of the island of Flores. Accompanied by a certified local guide, we will discover why this magical island captivates everyone.
On board a minibus, our first stop will be at the viewpoint of Alagoa, followed by Ponta Ruíva. Here, we will visit a small ethnographic museum and the viewpoint of Ilhéu Furado. We will continue north to the viewpoint of Ponta Delgada Cedros and the islet of Maria Vaz.
A highlight of the day will be the area of the 7 Lagoas, volcanic calderas that create stunning landscapes. We will also see the basalt columns of the Rocha dos Bordões and make stops at the viewpoints of Portal and Craveiro Lopes for scenic views.
After visiting the Vila das Lajes and its historic church, we will enjoy a typical lunch at a local restaurant to taste the region's cuisine.
After lunch, we will head to the Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro and the waterfall of Poço do Bacalhau in the area of Fajã Grande. Finally, after 7 hours, we will return to the starting point.
