Tour Details
Our adventure begins at Elefin Coffee on Maha Rat Street, where we will meet at the scheduled time. Following a brief introduction, we’ll proceed to the pier to commence our exploratory boat trip through Bangkok's canals, revealing some of the city's lesser-known spots!
Step aboard a traditional long-tail boat as we set sail on the waters of Bangkok. During the ride, we will share fascinating insights about the lives of the local residents and the traditions that they cherish.
Our first stop will be the Artist’s House, known locally as Baan Silapin. This historic dwelling, over 200 years old, serves as a museum of Thai art and has been beautifully restored by its owner. Its picturesque charm is sure to captivate you!
Next, we will visit Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen, a temple dating back to the Krungsri Ayudhya period located alongside the Bangkok Yai canal. Here, you can admire the striking Big Buddha, towering at 60 meters (196 ft)! Completed in 2021, this statue is a sight to behold. As we walk through this serene Buddhist center, we will discuss the significance of its name related to its canal-side position.
After approximately 2 hours, we will return to our starting location, concluding this memorable boat tour.
Partial Closures
Please note that due to ongoing construction work until June 2025, the Big Buddha can only be viewed from the exterior.
