Customized Tour of Wroclaw
As you make your booking, you can select from three distinct tour experiences:
Old Town Exploration (3 hours)
Welcome to enchanting Wroclaw, also known as the City of 100 Bridges! Your journey begins at the entrance of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, situated in Ostrów Tumski, the historical heart of the city. Following our visit to this magnificent structure from the 13th century, we will embark on a stroll through the charming avenues of Wroclaw's medieval old town.
Crossing the bridge over the Odra River, we will arrive at the city center where the University of Wroclaw awaits, known for its splendid Aula Leopoldinum, an ornately designed Baroque classroom. Continuing through the charming cobbled streets, we will make our way to Wroclaw Market Square, one of Europe's most extensive marketplaces, adorned with beautiful historic tenements and the stunning Gothic Town Hall!
Note: Entry to the Aula Leopoldinum is 3.50 EUR per person, and the monument is not open to visitors on Wednesdays.
Panoramic Tour of Wroclaw (4 hours)
We will pick you up from your accommodation and start our adventure at the iconic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, located on Ostrów Tumski, or "Cathedral Island," as it translates from Old Polish.
After a leisurely walk along the Odra River, we will ascend the renowned Polish Hill to take in a breathtaking panoramic view of historic Wroclaw. Remember to bring your camera!
Close to this viewpoint, we will visit the Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice Museum, showcasing one of the largest 360-degree battle depictions ever created, which stands as a prominent national treasure of Poland.
Subsequently, we have an opportunity to explore another cultural gem—the notable Aula Leopoldinum at the University of Wroclaw. We will then wander through the medieval lanes leading us to the expansive Market Square, where the impressive Gothic Town Hall and other historic structures await your admiration.
Concluding our tour, we will return you to your hotel in Wroclaw.
Note: Admission to the Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice Museum is 7.50 EUR per person, while this site is closed to visitors on Mondays from October to April. The Aula Leopoldinum has an entry fee of 3.50 EUR per person, and access is restricted on Wednesdays.
Wroclaw Jewish Heritage Exploration (4 hours)
Meeting at your hotel, we will proceed to the Jewish Quarter to gain insights into the long-standing history and contributions of the Jewish community in Wroclaw.
Throughout the tour, we will observe remnants of the Jewish heritage tracing back to the 12th century. As we stroll through Wroclaw's Old Town, we will delve into the social and economic impacts the Jewish population had on this Polish city, while also reflecting on the sorrowful events experienced during World War II.
We will visit the White Stork Synagogue, which doubles as the Center for Jewish Culture and Education. Additional highlights include the Market Square, the Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, notable Jewish department stores, the former Jewish Theatre, and the Memorial to the Victims of the Kristallnacht.
Our journey will conclude at the Old Jewish Cemetery, where you will find tombstones over 800 years old. Afterward, we will escort you back to your hotel, bidding farewell.
Note: Entry to the synagogue is priced at 3 EUR per person, though it is currently closed. Admission to the Museum of Cemetery Art costs 4 EUR per individual.
