Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Tour

We'll meet at the appointed time in Battery Park outside the entrance of Castle Clinton, a historic fort that was once considered a possible site for the Statue of Liberty.

Then it's all aboard a ferry to Liberty Island. On the ride over, the guide will recount the history of the Statue of Liberty, a monument gifted by France in 1886 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Once we arrive at Liberty Island, you'll have time to walk around the grounds and take photos of this emblematic symbol of New York. Afterward, we'll hop back on the ferry. If your schedule allows, you can make a stop at Ellis Island before returning.

Ellis Island is home to the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration, located in the former immigration complex. Here, you can learn about the experiences of immigrants who came to the United States during the 19th and 20th centuries. After your visit, you can return to Manhattan on the next ferry.

If you choose not to visit Ellis Island, we will head straight back to the starting point after visiting the Statue of Liberty.
