No trip to Xi'an is complete without experiencing the remarkable Terracotta Army site. Visit the awe-inspiring over 7,000-figure life-size army bound to leave you utterly speechless.
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll be picked up from your hotel in Xian to start this tour to the Terracotta Warriors.
After about a 1-hour drive, we'll arrive at the Museum of the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, home of the famous Terracotta Army, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This site houses more than 7,000 life-size terracotta warriors and horses, which were buried underground for 2,000 years and were discovered in 1974.
For approximately 2.5 hours, we'll tour this impressive museum, learning about China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, and the purpose of this army. After the visit, you can enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant, featuring the Sanqin Combo, which includes Rou Jia Mo (Chinese hamburger), Liang Pi (cold noodles), and Bing Feng Qi Shui (drink).
After this meal, we'll return to Xian and take you back to your hotel, concluding approximately 7 hours of sightseeing.
