Tour Overview
Your journey begins at the scheduled meeting point in the Parque Los Fundadores, from where we will set off towards the distinguished district of El Prado.
As we explore, you'll unravel the rich history of what is widely recognized as Colombia's first meticulously designed urban area. This neighborhood showcases architectural brilliance, being the first in the nation to implement modern building practices.
Upon arrival in El Prado, you'll be greeted by the stunning mansions and opulent homes that characterize this historic enclave. Wandering through its avenues, you'll behold significant monuments and pause in front of exclusive residences like Casa Emiliani and the Casas Moriscas, which are notable for their Neo-Nazarian architectural style. Interestingly, one of these structures mirrors a section of the famed Patio de los Leones from the Alhambra.
Continuing our exploration along Boulevard Norte y Sur, we will pass the Mancini House, La Perla, and the Parroquia Inmaculada Concepción. Our journey will conclude with a visit to the impressive Hotel El Prado, recognized as one of Colombia's premier hotels.
At the end of this engaging 2-hour tour, you'll have the opportunity to further discover El Prado at your leisure.
