Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the main entrance of the Montesdeoca cheese factory to begin our tour of the facilities.
After a brief presentation, we'll visit the goat and sheep farm of this cheese factory in the south of Tenerife. We'll see how the animals are cared for, how they are fed, and how they are milked to obtain fresh milk, the raw material for making local cheeses.
Next, we'll go to the factory area to observe how the cheeses are made. We'll discover the stages of the production chain, where different professionals create a unique product of extraordinary quality.
After an hour's tour, we'll conclude the visit in the tasting room, where we will taste 3 award-winning cheeses recognized at the island, national, and international levels. Enjoy the varieties of fresh, semi-cured, and aged cheese.
