Itinerary

Depart on a comfortable air-conditioned bus to Puerto de la Cruz, known as the maritime gateway to Valle de La Orotava. You will have the entire day to explore this significant tourist resort at your pace. Puerto de la Cruz is one of the earliest tourist destinations in Tenerife, attracting visitors with its mild climate and natural beauty. You can visit several attractions designed by Canarian architect César Manrique, including Playa Jardín and the Castillo de San Felipe.

For lunch, consider the town’s promenade or Plaza del Charco, where you will find the best local restaurants and shops for souvenirs. After lunch, if time permits, visit the Calle de San Telmo, home to a quaint chapel dedicated to Saint Telmo, and the Lago Martiánez, a complex of seawater pools.

Next, explore the Jardín del Sitio Litre, Tenerife's oldest garden, featuring a remarkable collection of tropical plants, including orchids that Agatha Christie and Alexander von Humboldt admired. For botany enthusiasts, the Jardín de Aclimatación de La Orotava is also recommended.

At the end of your day, return to the bus for transportation back to your hotel.
