Teide Stargazing Tour from South Tenerife
Between 2:15 and 4:30 pm, we will pick you up from your chosen meeting point and head to the Teide National Park. The minibus will take us to the Teide Observatory, where we will tour its facilities and learn about significant astronomical discoveries. Tenerife's altitude and low light and air pollution make it an ideal location for astronomical observation.
From the observatory, we'll view a breathtaking sunset as the sun sets behind the clouds surrounding Teide. We will then proceed to the base station of the Teide cable car, where we will have a 30-minute break with a picnic meal including a sausage and cheese sandwich, a sweet treat, and a beverage.
Once it is dark, we will hold a stargazing workshop lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, where we will identify major constellations and attempt to spot the International Space Station using long-range telescopes.
Our adventure will conclude between 10:15 pm and 12:30 am with your drop-off at the starting point.
Tour With or Without Food
You can choose the ticket option without the picnic meal; in this case, you will need to bring your own food.
Pickup
This tour includes pickup from major hotels and central points in Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos, Playa Las Americas, and other areas in southern Tenerife.
