Teide Stargazing Tour from South Tenerife
Between 2:15 and 4:30 pm, we'll pick you up from your chosen meeting point and head to the Teide National Park. The minibus will take us to the Teide Observatory, an astronomical complex with several laboratories and different telescopes. A guided tour will provide insights into important discoveries made here.
We'll explain why Tenerife is one of the best places for astronomical observation, highlighting factors like altitude and low pollution levels. From the observatory, we'll admire a breathtaking sunset as the sun sets behind clouds around the Teide.
Next, we head to the base station of the Teide cable car for a 30-minute rest and a picnic meal that includes a sausage and cheese sandwich, a sweet treat, and a bottle of water or a soft drink.
Once dark, we will commence a stargazing workshop lasting 1 hour 15 minutes, focusing on major constellations and spotting the International Space Station using long-range telescopes. The tour concludes between 10:15 pm and 12:30 am with drop-off at the starting point.
Tour with or without food
You can choose to book the tour with or without the picnic meal. If opting out of the meal, please bring your own food.

The tour includes pickup from main hotels and central points in Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos, Playa Las Americas, and other southern Tenerife areas. You will see the complete list of pickup locations when booking. We will confirm the exact pickup time based on your location and sunset time.
