Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at your chosen pickup point and set off for the ancient city of Pompeii. A 50-minute drive will take us to our destination for a guided tour of the ruins of Pompeii, focusing on the eruption of Vesuvius on August 24, 79 AD, which buried a prosperous Roman city.

We will explore the excavated remains, including the forum, baths, and theatre, while learning about daily life in ancient Pompeii. After the tour, you'll have 1 hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, we'll proceed to Mount Vesuvius, ascending the first 3,280 feet (1,000 meters) by bus and walking the rest to the summit. At the top, you can enjoy views of the Bay of Naples.

Finally, we'll descend and return by bus, arriving back in Maiori after 10 hours of exploring.
