Visit the ruins of the city that was destroyed by one of the most well-known eruptions of all time on our Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip. We'll set off from Maiori and take a trip almost 2,000 years back in time.

Pompeii & Vesuvius Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at your chosen location and depart for the ancient city of Pompeii. Prepare to visit one of Italy's significant historic sites.

After a 50-minute drive, we'll arrive at Pompeii for a guided tour of the ruins. We will focus on the events of August 24, 79 AD, when Vesuvius erupted and buried a major city in the Roman Empire.

The tour will cover remains such as the forum, the baths, and the theatre. As we explore this World Heritage Site, we will learn about daily life. After the tour, you will have 1 hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, we will travel to Mount Vesuvius. We will ascend the first 3,280 feet (1,000 meters) by bus and then walk to the summit of the volcano. At the top, we will have views of the Bay of Naples.

We will then descend the volcano and return on the bus, arriving back in Maiori after 10 hours.
