On this Temple Tour of Agra, we'll discover the history and symbolism of the city's three most important shrines.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel, the train station, or the airport to begin this tour of Agra's Temples. Prepare to visit three prominent shrines that represent Hinduism.
Our first stop will be the Shri Mankameshwar Mandir Temple, dedicated to Shiva. Here, we'll observe devotees carrying flowers and sweets as offerings.
Next, we will visit Balkeshwar Mandir, an ancient Mahadeo temple significant during the holy month of Saawan. It is one of the four temples dedicated to Shiva in Agra.
We will also explore the Radhasoami movement at the Soami Bagh, featuring several shrines and the mausoleum of a guru from this spiritual movement. The architectural blend of temple, mosque, and vihara showcases white sculptural details.
After a 3-hour tour of Agra's temples, we will conclude at the initial pickup point.
