Join us on this excursion to Mathura from Agra to explore significant Hindu temples and the birthplace of the god Krishna, immersing in Indian history and culture.

Day Trip to Mathura

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Agra and commence the excursion to Mathura, a city rich in historical significance.

After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will arrive and begin a tour of iconic locations in Mathura. The first stop will be the Shree Krishan Janam Bhoomi complex, housing a collection of Hindu temples at the site where legend states the Hindu god Krishna was born.

Next, we will visit the Dwarkadhish temple, known for its architectural beauty and impressive murals.

Our following stop will be the Sri Krishna Balaram temple, or ISKCON temple, which serves as the main headquarters of the Hare Rama Hare Krishna mission. We will explore its architectural features while learning about this religious branch.

Afterward, a break for lunch at a local restaurant area will allow for a meal on your own. We will continue to the Prem Mandir, constructed entirely from white marble, featuring numerous statues and educational insights into their significance.

Finally, we will return to Agra, concluding our 10-hour tour of Mathura.
