Join us on this excursion to Mathura from Agra! We'll visit significant Hindu temples and the birthplace of the god Krishna, exploring the richness of Indian history and culture.

Day Trip to Mathura

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Agra and depart for Mathura, known for its deep historical roots in Hindu religion and culture.

After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will begin our tour of key sites in Mathura. Our first stop will be the Shree Krishan Janam Bhoomi complex, where the Hindu god Krishna was born and consists of several temples.

Next, we will visit the Dwarkadhish temple, noted for its intricate details and impressive murals.

We will then proceed to the Sri Krishna Balaram temple, also known as the ISKCON temple, which serves as the main headquarters for the Hare Rama Hare Krishna mission. You will learn about this religious branch while appreciating the temple's architecture.

After the temple visits, you can enjoy lunch at your convenience in a local restaurant area. Afterwards, we will explore the Prem Mandir, constructed entirely from white marble, featuring numerous statues with their own significance.

Finally, we will return to Agra, concluding our 10-hour tour of Mathura.
