At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Agra and then set off to the enigmatic Fatehpur Sikri, approximately an hour's drive away.

Welcome to the best-preserved ghost town in the world! We'll tour this UNESCO World Heritage Site and appreciate how its various buildings exemplify Indian and Arabian architecture.

Fatehpur Sikri was inhabited for less than 20 years due to water scarcity. Established by Mughal emperor Akbar in the 16th century, the city eventually fell into oblivion, though its monumental legacy remains.

During the visit, we'll see the Buland Darwaza Gate, the mosque, the tomb of the saint Salim Chishti, among other important landmarks.

After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, we'll travel for two hours to Abhaneri to visit the renowned Chand Baori cistern, one of the most scenic spots in Rajasthan.

We'll delve into the 9th century origins of this vast water reservoir, noted as the deepest stepwell in India.

Finally, we'll return you to your hotel in Agra after 8 hours of excursion, or if preferred, end the tour in Jaipur and drop you off in the city center.
