Tour of Agropoli

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the access steps to the historical center of Agropoli leading to the Angio-Aragonese castle.

We'll cross the Porta Bizantina, one of the town's main entrances from medieval times, and immerse ourselves in the historical atmosphere of Agropoli Vecchia, walking along cobble-stoned streets lined with stone houses.

Next, we'll visit the Church of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli, a 16th-century architectural gem known for its simple facade and captivating frescoed interior. We'll wander the narrow, winding streets of the village to experience the authentic atmosphere of a typical Cilento village.

Then, we'll head to the Aragonese Castle to admire its exterior. This 8th-century fortress dominates the village from a promontory. We will learn about the history and legends associated with this location and descend to a viewpoint for a breathtaking view of the sea and cliffs.

Afterward, we'll go to the port of Agropoli for a coffee and cake or ice cream, concluding our tour 3 hours later.
