Explore one of Mexico's captivating Magical Towns and immerse yourself in its historical significance on this day excursion to Calvillo from Aguascalientes.

Excursion to Calvillo

Your journey begins at 10 am when we will collect you from your hotel in Aguascalientes and set off towards the enchanting Calvillo.

After a scenic 45-minute ride, we will arrive and visit a guava candy workshop. Here, you will discover the process of crafting this delightful treat and have the chance to sample it. The guava from this region is renowned for being the sweetest in all of Mexico, thanks to its fertile soil and the dedicated efforts of local farmers.

Subsequently, we will wander through Calvillo's historic core, where we will visit the main square, the Municipal Palace, and the Church of Señor Salitre, a stunning neoclassical structure erected in 1772. You will also have an opportunity to admire the striking pink exterior of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

As part of the experience, we will savor a traditional frozen fruit treat before exploring some local workshops specializing in embroidery, weaving, organic jewelry, and leather craftsmanship, where we will discuss the significance of artisanal work in Calvillo.

Your excursion will wrap up with our return to your hotel in Aguascalientes by 3 pm.
