Explore Aiken del Sur Park

Begin your journey in the reception area of Hotel Loberias del Sur located in Puerto Chacabuco. From this starting point, we will depart heading east, ready for an unforgettable adventure.

After a short drive of approximately 15 minutes, we will arrive at the Aiken del Sur Park, an important ecotourism reserve that covers 250 hectares (617 acres) within the captivating landscape of Chilean Patagonia. This ecological haven provides an ideal backdrop for discovering some of the region's most incredible natural sights. Upon arrival, we will first visit the Visitor's Center, where a complimentary welcome drink awaits us. As we enjoy our beverages, we will receive a concise overview of the diverse routes available for exploration throughout the park.

Participants can select from four different hiking trails within Aiken del Sur Park. Each guided hike lasts between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the selected trail's level of difficulty. Along the way, you will discover the rich flora and fauna of Aysen, alongside insights into the area's rich cultural history.

Following your trek, your route will conclude at the park's cafeteria, where a traditional Patagonian lunch featuring roasted lamb will be served. Next, we will attend a folkloric performance that highlights regional music and dance traditions.

After the vibrant show, we will return to our meeting point in Puerto Chacabuco, wrapping up approximately 5.5 hours filled with cultural and natural explorations.
