Chilean Patagonia Boat Trip from Puerto Chacabuco
We'll meet at Puerto Oxxean dock in Puerto Chacabuco and embark on a catamaran journey through Aysén, Chile. Enjoy an onboard breakfast as we navigate the channels of Chilean Patagonia, offering views of native forests, islands, and fjords.
Learn about Patagonian landscapes as we sail south. Mid-morning, there will be a light onboard snack before continuing through various channels. Around midday, lunch will feature local specialities.
After lunch, we'll arrive at Laguna San Rafael National Park, home to a glacier 2 kilometres (1.25 miles) wide and 20 kilometres (12.5 miles) long. If conditions permit, we'll disembark for a zodiac ride to the glacier while viewing Mount San Valentín, the highest mountain in western Patagonia at 4053 meters (13,300 feet).
Following the zodiac ride, we'll return to the catamaran for a toast of whiskey with glacier ice. The return journey includes an option to relax at the onboard bar, which offers tea, hot chocolate, or coffee.
We will conclude the activity by docking at Oxxean Port pier, finishing our adventure 13 hours after departure.
