Arles, Saint-Rémy & Les Baux Day Trip

We'll pick you up at 9 am from the tourist office in Aix-en-Provence and set off on an hour's journey to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

Upon arrival, we will visit Les Antiques, renowned Roman monuments that marked the entrance to the ancient city of Glanum. You will have free time to explore Saint-Rémy and its streets. A recommended visit is to the recreation of Van Gogh's bedroom in Saint-Paul de Mausole. If your tour is on a Wednesday, you will also have the opportunity to visit the local market.

Our next stop will be Les Baux-de-Provence, where you can explore the fortress at the top of the Alpilles and enjoy the surrounding fields. Those interested can attend the sound and light shows at the Carrières des Lumières (entrance fee not included).

Finally, we will head to Arles, where Van Gogh lived. You may visit the Roman amphitheatre and, if you come on a Saturday, the Provençal market. We will return to Aix-en-Provence at 5:30 pm.
