Arles, Saint-Rémy & Les Baux Day Trip

We'll pick you up at 9 am from the tourist office in Aix-en-Provence and set off on an hour's journey to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

Upon arrival, we will visit Les Antiques, notable Roman monuments marking the entrance to the ancient city of Glanum. You will have time to explore Saint-Rémy at your leisure, with a recommendation to visit the recreation of Van Gogh's bedroom in Saint-Paul de Mausole. On Wednesdays, you can also visit the local market.

Next, we will proceed to Les Baux-de-Provence, where you can visit its fortress at the top of the Alpilles and enjoy the surrounding fields. Visitors can also attend the sound and light shows of the Carrières des Lumières (entrance fee not included).

Our last stop will be Arles, another location significant to Van Gogh. You can visit the Roman amphitheatre and, if your visit is on a Saturday, check out the Provencal market.

We will return to Aix-en-Provence at 5:30 pm.
