Discover the breathtaking French region of Provence that inspired Vincent Van Gogh on this day trip to Arles, Saint-Rémy and Les Baux.

Arles, Saint-Rémy & Les Baux Day Trip

We'll pick you up at 9 am from the tourist office in Aix-en-Provence and set off on an hour's journey to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

Upon arrival, we will visit Les Antiques, famous Roman monuments signaling the entrance to the ancient city of Glanum. You will then have free time to explore Saint-Rémy, including its charming streets. On Wednesdays, there is an option to visit the local market.

Next, we will head to Les Baux-de-Provence, where you can visit the impressive fortress at the top of the Alpilles and enjoy the scenic surroundings. In Les Baux, there is an optional visit to the Carrières des Lumières for sound and light shows (entrance fee not included).

Our final stop will be Arles, where Van Gogh lived. You can visit the Roman amphitheatre, and if your visit coincides with Saturday, you will also explore the Provencal market.

We will return to Aix-en-Provence by 5:30 pm.
