Day Trip Details
We will gather at the specified time on Avenue Giuseppe Verdi in Aix-en-Provence. Following that, we will journey toward the coastline aboard a minibus, reaching the picturesque village of Cassis after approximately one hour.
Upon arrival, we'll proceed along Crest Road, making our way to Cape Canaille, the tallest sea cliff in Europe. Standing at the summit, you'll be treated to some of the most breathtaking vistas of the region. Afterwards, we will visit the charming and vibrant fishing port of Cassis.
Additionally, there is an option to embark on a boat tour to explore the Calanques, featuring dramatic cliffs that lie near Marseille. Should you choose to partake in the boat trip, you’ll glide over the azure waters of the Mediterranean, admiring the breathtaking natural coves that are inaccessible by land. Please note that the boat ticket is not covered in the tour package, and can be purchased directly at the pier on the day of the excursion.
Our journey will conclude back at the initial meeting point after approximately 4 to 4.5 hours from pickup.
If your excursion takes place on a Wednesday or Friday, you will have the opportunity to explore the traditional market. Here, you can immerse yourself in the local atmosphere as you browse through stalls filled with regional products and observe the everyday life in Cassis.
