In this excursion to Cassis from Aix-en-Provence, we'll visit Calanques and Cape Canaille.
Description
We'll meet at the designated time on Avenue Giuseppe Verdi in Aix-en-Provence. From there, we'll head to the coast with a 1-hour minibus journey to the town of Cassis.
Upon arrival, we'll travel along Crest Road to Cape Canaille, recognized as the highest sea cliff in Europe. The top provides a stunning view of the surrounding area. Following this, we'll visit the fishing port of Cassis.
Additionally, there is an option to take a boat trip to view the Calanques, featuring steep cliffs near Marseille. This boat excursion allows you to sail through the blue Mediterranean waters and visit natural coves inaccessible by land.
The adventure concludes back at the starting point, totaling 4 hours for the entire excursion.
