Luberon Market & Villages Tour

We'll meet at the Aix-en-Provence Tourist Office at 9 am and set off in a minibus to explore the villages of Luberon. The order of visits may change. First, we'll visit Roussillon, known for its ochre houses and cliffs. Then, we'll pass by Lourmarin, recognized for its Renaissance castle, where you can walk through its streets and admire the architecture.

Next, we will head to Fontaine de Vaucluse along the Sorgue River, where you'll enjoy a walk by the stream. Our tour will include a brief stop in Gordes for a historic castle and panoramic views. Lastly, we'll visit a traditional Provencal market for souvenir shopping featuring local products like soaps, lavender, and cheeses. Market days are: Tuesday in Gordes, Thursday in Roussillon, Friday in Lourmarin, Saturday in Apt, and Sunday in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

We'll return to Aix-en-Provence at approximately 6:30 pm.

Itinerary Adjustments

Between mid-June and mid-July, there will be a brief stop at the abbey of Sénanque for photos of the lavender field.
