No trip to Corsica is complete without visiting the beautiful Sanguinaires Islands. With this cruise, you will sail along the coast from Ajaccio and be mesmerized by the famous red tones of the rocks.

The tour departs from Ajaccio at the designated time, heading towards the renowned Sanguinaires Islands. The route takes us west along the Corsican coast, passing by the house of Tino Rossi, a celebrated French actor and singer born in this region. The port of Corsica’s capital was named in his honor due to his contributions to the arts.

Along the way, you will encounter the ‘Chapel of the Greeks’, built by refugees from the Greek settlement of Paomia in the 18th century before they moved north on the island.

Upon arriving at the Sanguinaires Islands, the main highlight of the cruise, you will see the iconic tower of Parata. This Genoese turret, constructed in 1608, stands tall with a commanding view of the area. The islands' namesake emerges as you take in the remarkable rocks that appear to bleed reddish tones, a result of the prevalent jasper rock in the region.

We will then make a stop on the main island of Mezumare for 1 hour, offering you the chance to swim or walk to the Alphonse Duadet lighthouse at the summit. In Mezumare, also known as the ‘Grand Sanguinaire’, you can explore the ruins of a ‘lazarreto’, a former quarantine station for fishermen and sailors, which is now a habitat for various bird species.

After approximately 3 hours, we will return to the port of Ajaccio, concluding the trip.
