We'll pick you up from the agreed meeting point in Akureyri and drive to Godafoss Waterfall, also known as the waterfall of the gods. After a 30-minute drive, we will arrive at the vicinity of the waterfall. This site is historically significant as it became the birthplace of the Christianisation of the country in 1000 A.D. We will discuss the legend surrounding Godafoss while exploring the natural environment. We'll enjoy the 12-metre high Godafoss waterfall and capture photographs before returning to Akureyri. The tour will conclude at the starting point after 2 and a half hours of hiking.
