In summer, at 8:30 pm, meet at the Oddeyrarbót floating pier for a unique experience of whale and dolphin watching. Departing from Akureyri, observe as marine life appears amongst the waves. If the waters are calm, the captain may turn off the boat's motors, allowing you to listen to the sounds of the whales and birds. The experience concludes with a return to the original departure point.

Wildlife watching

Keep in mind these are wild animals and unpredictable. Sightings depend on ocean currents, wind, and climate. In the unlikely event of no sightings, a voucher will be provided to redo the tour within the next two years.
