Whale & Dolphin Watching under the Midnight Sun

In Iceland during summer, as the sun casts vibrant colors in the sky, you will meet at the Oddeyrarbót floating pier at 8:30 pm. Your boat will set sail for a unique experience of whale and dolphin watching under the midnight sun.

As you cruise away from Akureyri's coast, you may witness whales and dolphins appearing between the waves. If conditions are calm, the captain will turn off the boat's motors, allowing you to enjoy the silence and hear the sounds of the whales and birds. This evening under the midnight sun will be unforgettable. Following the activity, you will return to the departure point.

Wildlife watching

These are wild animals, and thus their appearances are unpredictable. Depending on ocean conditions, sightings may vary. In the unlikely event that no whales or dolphins are seen, a voucher will be provided for a repeat tour within the next two years.
