Kayak Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the airport, port, or your hotel in Doha. The journey to Al Thakira Reserve takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival, we'll have a brief introduction to the area's fauna and flora and provide basic instructions on how to paddle along with safety advice for navigating the mangrove ecosystem.

We'll embark on a 4-hour tour, paddling along the mangrove canals while observing herons, flamingos, and other local birdlife. Multiple stops will be made for photos and to enjoy the tranquillity of the landscape.

Halfway through the tour, we'll pause for 30 minutes at a small island within the mangroves to rest, rehydrate, and eat. Participants should bring a snack.

After the break, we'll continue exploring the canals to maximize our chances of spotting local fauna. Upon return to dry land, we'll return the kayak equipment and travel back to Doha, concluding the tour after a total of 6 hours.
