Manama Handicrafts Private Tour
If you have a passion for local handicrafts, this private tour was made for you. We'll pick you up from your hotel in Manama at 9 am to start discovering the most traditional Bahraini art.
First, we'll visit the Bait Al Quran, which translates to 'House of the Quran'. This complex accommodates a mosque, a school, a library, and one of the most famous Islamic museums in the area. We'll find manuscripts hundreds of years old from different parts of the world: Spain, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, etc.
Our next stop is the Manama Handicraft Center. Here, up to 80 artisans work, showcasing iron jewelry, dolls, embroidery, and more. Visitors can purchase local products.
Next, we'll visit the house of Manama Khalaf to learn about the pearl trade in the city. We'll also see Bab Al Bahrain, the 'Gate of Bahrain' marking the entrance to the Souk, which offers another opportunity for shopping.
We'll conclude the tour and return you to your hotel four hours after the meeting time.
