Travel back in time and discover the history of Manama with this private tour. You'll visit some of the most important sites such as the Al Khamis Mosque and the tombs of the Dilmun civilization.

Manama History Private Tour

At 9 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Manama. During this tour through the past of Bahrain's capital, we'll discover important places of the city's ancient period, as well as explore its customs.

First, we'll head to the Bahrain Military Museum, learning about the country's history, from Ahmed the Conqueror to the modernization of its armed forces.

The next stop will be at Riffa Fort (also known as Sheikh Salman bin Ahmed Fort), built in the 19th century, which offers views of the Hunanaiya Valley.

We'll continue our tour at a pottery workshop, where we'll learn to make pots and plates in ancient kilns, a tradition passed down through generations.

Then, we'll leave Manama to visit the city of A'ali to see the remains of the tombs of the Dilmun civilization, followed by a visit to the Al Khamis Mosque, one of the oldest in the region.

The tour will conclude with our return to your hotel in Manama four hours later.
