Muharraq Private Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet you at your hotel in Manama. We'll drive to the neighbouring city of Muharraq, which was the capital of Bahrain until 1923.

The first stop will be at the house of Isa ibin Ali Al Khalifa, who ruled for 63 years. This 19th-century building has several rooms and courtyards depicting Bahrain's history.

Next, we'll visit the Shaikh Ebrahim Centre, dedicated to philosophy, literature, and poetry, featuring beautiful Arabic calligraphy.

We will also visit the Abdullah Al Zayed House, home of the founder of the first newspaper in the country. After exploring the history of Bahrain's media, we will learn about craftsmanship at the Kurar House, focusing on the connection between family and tradition.

The final stop will be at the Muharraq souq for shopping, before returning to your hotel four hours after the start time.
