Description

Embark on a remarkable journey through the Sakhir Desert, where you'll uncover the wonders of Bahrain. Highlights of this private day trip include the renowned Tree of Life, the prestigious Formula 1 Circuit, and the historical site of the nation’s first oil well—an essential experience for visitors based in Manama.

Sakhir Desert Private Day Trip

Your adventure begins at 2 pm with a pickup from your accommodation in Manama. From there, we'll head into the heart of the Sakhir Desert, engaging with key locations that have significantly contributed to the prosperity of Bahrain.

Our first destination is the pinnacle of the country: Jabel Al Dukhan (Mountain of Smoke). Ascending to 440 feet (134 meters) above sea level, you'll be treated to spectacular panoramic views over the vast expanse of the Sakhir Desert. Following this, our route will take us to the oil well discovered in 1932, marking it as the very first of its kind in Bahrain.

The next highlight will be the captivating Tree of Life. This ancient tree, approximately 400 years old, stands on a hill and is enveloped in enigmas we will explore together. Afterward, our journey continues to the Al Areen nature reserve, where you can observe local wildlife in their natural habitat.

As the day winds down, we’ll visit the prestigious Bahrain International Circuit, often referred to as the Sakhir Circuit. This venue is famed for its involvement in Formula 1, and you’ll learn about what sets this track apart from others, including its distinctive design and features.

At the conclusion of this enriching excursion, we will return to your hotel in Manama, completing the trip four hours after we initially departed.
