Al-Ula Exploration

At the scheduled hour, we will collect you from your accommodation and commence our visit to the historic town of Al-Ula, diving deep into its fascinating history.

Dating back to the 12th century, Al-Ula's historic center boasts a captivating maze of narrow alleys, lined with shops and stone and adobe constructions. Here, we'll unravel the town's roots and discuss the significant economic achievements it experienced due to its strategic position along the "Incense Route".

During the guided excursion, our journey will also lead us to an ancient fortress where we will unveil various legends that have been cherished and narrated through the ages by the local community.

Additionally, we will examine the characteristics of traditional Arab architecture and explore the circumstances that led to the city's abandonment in the late 20th century. This period marked the relocation of its residents to modern Al-Ula, located just 6.2 miles (10 km) away, which offered a more secure infrastructure.

After an hour of exploration, we will conclude the tour by returning you to your hotel.
