Tour to Tayma
Between 7 and 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Al-Ula and drive to the archaeological site of Tayma, a 2-hour drive away. Explore one of the oldest human settlements in Saudi Arabia.
Before arrival, we'll make several stops for you to visit notable sites along the route, including Bir Haddaj, the largest water well in the country, and the palaces of Al Ridham and Al Hamra.
Upon reaching Tayma, we'll visit the walls that date back to the 7th century B.C., reflecting the settlement's prosperity due to its strategic location among trade routes.
After exploring the walls, lunch will be at a restaurant featuring various Saudi delicacies.
The next stop will be the ruins of the Qasr Al Romman palace, previously owned by Tayma governors. To further understand the city's history, we'll visit the Al Fajr Museum, housing artifacts from the site.
We will conclude the excursion between 4 and 5 pm and return you to your hotel.
