Journey to Tayma

Your adventure begins between 7 and 8 am, with a pickup from your accommodation in Al-Ula. We will embark on a scenic two-hour drive toward the archaeological wonders of Tayma, one of the most ancient human settlements in the region.

As we make our way to Tayma, we'll pause at various points of interest, allowing you to privately explore iconic landmarks such as Bir Haddaj, renowned as the country's largest well. Additionally, you will witness the grand palaces of Al Ridham and Al Hamra.

Upon arriving in Tayma, your first stop will be the remarkable walls of the settlement, which trace their origins back to the 7th century B.C.. This prosperous area flourished due to its strategic placement within a vast oasis, serving as a crucial junction for several trade routes.

The exploration continues at the ruins of Qasr Al Romman palace, which once housed a notable family of governors in Tayma. For a deeper understanding of the city's rich history, a visit to the Al Fajr Museum will unveil a collection of artifacts that narrate the story of this ancient location.
