Truffle-Hunting Tour

Join us to hunt for truffles in Alba, a countryside town in Cuneo known for its truffles. Learn about truffles and observe truffle-hunting dogs in action.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the parking of the Alba Cemetery. You will board a vehicle and follow the tour guide to the forest for the truffle-hunting adventure. Prepare to discover the secrets of the truffle, a renowned regional product.

Upon arrival, we will meet the truffle expert, who will guide us and offer advice on truffle hunting. During the activity, you will observe the expert's work closely and watch the specially trained truffle-hunting dogs as they search for these mushrooms. We will then set out into the mountains with our expert and their canine companions for the hunt.

We will engage in a simulated activity where the expert has hidden truffles to demonstrate the truffle-hunting process. Due to the abundance of truffles in the area, there is a possibility of finding naturally grown truffles as well.

After an hour and a half of hunting, you will return to your vehicle, concluding your truffle-hunting experience.
