Banff & Sulphur Mountain Tour + Johnston Canyon or Grassi Lakes

On this tour of Banff, you'll discover the Banff National Park, visit Sulphur Mountain, and choose to explore either Johnston Canyon or the Grassi Lakes.

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your selected point to begin your adventure through Banff National Park. We'll start by taking the Banff Gondola to ascend to Sulphur Mountain for scenic views of Banff and the Rocky Mountains.

Next, we will visit the National Cave and Basin Historic Site for 30 minutes to learn about the thermal waters that led to the park's creation in 1885. Our following stop will be Bow Falls, where you can walk along Bow River and enjoy the landscape.

Then, we will explore the Hoodoos rock formations, with views of the Bow Valley. Our tour will continue to the Mount Norquay lookout for stunning views, followed by 1.5 hours of free time to explore Banff and have lunch.

Next, we will head to Lake Minnewanka, where you'll have between 30 minutes to 1 hour to stroll or enjoy a picnic by the lake, or rent a kayak or boat.

To conclude, you will have 1 hour to visit either Johnston Canyon or the Grassi Lakes, ideal for relaxing walks in nature. We will return to your hotel after 10 to 12 hours.
